Welcome to High Desert Healing, where everybody deserves good therapy.
We provide compassionate psychotherapy services grounded in feminist multicultural theory, honoring the diverse identities and experiences that shape who you are. Whether this is your first time seeking therapy or you’ve been on this journey for years, you’ll find a safe, affirming space where your story is valued and your healing is prioritized.
Our approach is both relational and rooted in research. We integrate evidence-based interventions with a strong emphasis on neuroscience-backed strategies to support nervous system regulation, emotional resilience, and long-term healing. You can expect therapy that is collaborative, grounded, and tailored to your unique needs.
If you’re ready to explore healing, build resilience, and embrace change, High Desert Healing is here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
I’m Courtney
I’ve worked in the mental and behavioral field for over a decade. I hail from the Midwest but have called Utah and ‘The Intermountain West’ my home for many years.
I earned my B.S. in Human Biology from Indiana University and Masters in Social Work from the University of Utah. I hold my LCSW license in the state of Utah and am the Owner of High Desert Healing PLLC.
I’m proud to call myself a social worker, therapist, mental health advocate, business owner, and supervisor. I regularly find myself on the other side of the couch, as a client in therapy myself. I love my job. I love my dog, Java. I love my high desert community in Salt Lake City.
You are welcome here.
Regardless of your race, gender identity/expression, sexual orientation, relationship status, religious affiliation, etc.
You belong here. You are safe. You are loved just as you are.
